AIM FOR ENDURANCE WITH FUNCUP ACADEMY

The FunCup Academy has been created to introduce drivers from 16 years of age into car racing, to enable them to forge a Motorsport career and become a racing driver of the future.

We are interested in new drivers to join the team and to be a part of the FunCup Endurance Championship. Along with many already highly experienced race car drivers and professionals, we want to give you the opportunity to show the racing world your ability to become the star of tomorrow.

The FunCup Academy will support you from the initial test day, training programme, taking your ARDS licence, to eventually securing a full season with the FunCup Championship.

This exciting opportunity has been created for you, to ease the cross over from karting to car racing, or indeed, any individual hoping to get into Motorsport.

Team7Racing is owned and run by Jay Shepherd who is the driving force behind the FunCup Academy.

At the age of 14, Karting was the beginning of his Motorsport career, moving on to win many races and Championships in sports cars, saloons and single seaters. Jay has competed in the FunCup Championship for several seasons with great success and truly believes it is the perfect introduction to car racing for an inspiring driver.

Jay is a Grade A ARDS instructor and has given tuition to racing drivers all over the world from novice to many well known drivers.

Team7Racing have a fully qualified and experience mechanical team for the Funcup Academy drivers and is fully supported by the FunCup organisers JPR Motorsport.
