AUSSIE RULES!

CATEGORIES:

There were probably a few raised glasses in Wallaroo, South Australia last Sunday morning as news filtered through that Jordan Skinner, a native of the small port town, had clinched the BRSCC National Formula Ford 1600cc title far away at Cheshire's Oulton Park circuit.

The young Australian's haul of 20 points from winning the first of two Formula Ford races meant it was an impossible task for his closest rival, Stuart Gough, to overhaul him. However, it wasn't all bad news for the Southport racer – he was second to Skinner in the first race and won the second – a result which secured him the Champion of Oulton Post 89 title ahead of Skinner.

Celebratory glasses were also probably raised in Warrington that evening as John Farrell won both Pre 90 Formula Ford outings to win the Champion of Oulton Pre 90 crown in a very close battle with Lee Hannam.

Congratulations to all!
