CADWELL PARK ON SATURDAY

The BRSCC Northern Centre runs their second meeting of the season at Cadwell Park tomorrow with an eight race schedule featuring double headers for the Formula Jedi Championship, the Porsche 924 Championship, the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup and BESCR sponsored by Acumen Solutions Ltd.
The 2.173 mile Cadwell Park circuit is a favourite for the Formula Jedi fraternity. Last year Nigel Reuben broke the outright lap record for the circuit so the likes of Scott Stevens, Richard Mitcham & Barry Armstrong will be aiming to improve on Nigel’s time. The Porsche 924’s head up to the ‘Mini Nurburgring’ fresh from a double header at Brands Hatch two weeks ago where championship leader Will Penrose scored a brace of victories. Kamal Kalsi and Andy Kirkham will be desperate to cut Will’s lead after Saturday’s double header. We welcome down from North of the Border the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup, which has attracted many different drivers, from complete novices to seasoned racers. Not only are the races incredibly exciting to watch and be a part of but they also fiercely competitive – last season the Minis produced 8 different winners! Both BESCR races on Saturday are sponsored by Acumen Solutions Ltd. The high revving, ultra light weight cars will enjoy the striking mixture of twists, cambers and gradients offered by the Lincolnshire track.
