The BRSCC Northern Centre gets their season underway tomorrow with a one day meeting at Cadwell Park which will feature eight races.

The popular Mighty Minis return to their adopted ancestral home boasting an impressive grid in the mid twenties, more than have of which are newcomers. Matt Pinny and Louise Inch will be amongst the favourites for title honours but the much improved Ben Van Den Bos will be out to impress at his local circuit.

Competition will be even fiercer in the Super Mighty Minis with no less than eight ex champions lining-up this season. Neven Kirkpatrick and Scott Kendal, the former winning at Cadwell last year, will be the drivers to watch and it will be intriguing to see how James Lyford and Chris Morgan handle the step up to Supers. Elliot Stafford has also won at Cadwell a couple of times so sparks should fly.

The new format of the BRSCC Porsche Championship debuts at Cadwell tomorrow with the Boxster class joining the long established 924’s. Dave Hughes & Nick Hull are the early Boxster representatives while Andrew Hannington, who was third in last year’s 924 championship, will be looking to take advantage of the absence of the two drivers who finished ahead of him.

The Northern Centre will welcome to Cadwell two guest championships from BARC South East. The Cannons Motor Spares Tin Top Saloons have a double header which also incorporates the Tiger Racing Series. Completing the schedule is the Quaife Intermarque League, the grid of which will be bolstered by six TVR’s from our own Dunlop TVR Challenge.
