Caterham Motorsport has announced that this season’s R400 Championship will not run. Grid numbers in 2009 were low and all indications showed this was unlikely to improve this year.
Caterham will now concentrate their efforts into developing a series’ replacement in 2011 which will follow a template set out by the oversubscribed R300 – top end Caterham performance, on a very economical budget Importantly, R400 drivers will not be left out in the cold as they all have plans for the new season and will be able to convert their cars to the 2011 specification at a very reasonable cost. |
