Photo: Gary Walton Just four weeks after the Britcar 24 hours race at Silverstone the officials & marshals of the BRSCC Midland Centre will have their torches out again but this time at Donington for a three hour race that will stretch well beyond dusk. The meeting actually starts tonight at 7pm with a one hour qualifying session which will give drivers in the Britcar GT and Production Championships some experience of night time conditions on the Donington track. Saturday’s action starts at 9am with qualifying for the Ma5da MX5 Winter Cup, for which there are three 20 minute races. The autumn off-shoot of the regular MX5 Championship has followed in its footsteps and produced a very healthy grid with 28 cars due to start. The six race schedule is completed with two races for the Ford Saloon Winter Trophy.
