The Club was greatly saddened to hear the news last week of the death of former Chief Executive, Grant Stewart, who passed away suddenly on Saturday 31st October.
Grant joined the BRSCC as Chief Executive in February 1999 from the Scottish Motor Racing Club. During his five year tenure he was instrumental in the introduction of both the PowerTour and the SuperClub packages. BRSCC Chairman, Bernard Cottrell said “Everyone at the Club was shocked to hear of Grant’s untimely death at such a young age of just 44. Our deepest condolences go to Grant’s family and friends and particularly his mother.” Grant will be buried at Falkirk Cemetery at 10am on Wednesday 11th November. |
