HUGHES & FIRTH JOIN TRACKSPEED FOR BRITISH GT CAMPAIGN

Trackspeed Racing are preparing to defend their 2013 British GT Team Championship title by fielding two cars in 2014.

Jon Minshaw and Phil Keen will return as a partnership in one Porsche 911 GT3R while the well-established pairing of Warren Hughes and Jody Firth join Trackspeed in the other.

Having won the British GT Team Championship four times consecutively since 2009, Trackspeed are keen to make it a fifth under the experienced management of Keith Cheetham.

“We have two great driver line-ups in Jon, Phil, Warren and Jody and the whole team has gelled already. I have a special feeling about this year and I am greatly looking forward to it.”

Hughes and Firth are no strangers to each other, having won the UK Speed Series and Euro Speed Series in 2011 and 2012 respectively and having competed together in a host of championships including British GT, ELMS, WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours.
