The 2011 Mighty Minis season gets underway tomorrow at the Oulton Park Time Attack meeting with the first of eleven championship rounds for both the Standard and Super classes.

With many newcomers coming into Mighty Minis every year, this remains one of the fastest growing championships around. It has become known for its fantastic on track battles with the championship never being decided until the last race.

Louise Inch in her pink (24) car won the 2010 title by 0.016 of a second in the last race after a year long battle with Matt Pinny. Louise is back again this year and will no doubt defend her title robustly!

In the Supers, Scott Kendall sports the number 1 on his car this year after a dominant performance in 2010. However, the field is fired up to deny him a smooth title defence.

New to Super Mighty Minis racing is Jonathan Lewis who has a vast amount of Mini racing experience including Mini Miglia and he will be keen to prove himself in Supers. He will have his work cut out though as there no fewer than seven other champions sharing the Super Mighty Minis grid. This includes Bob Bennetts, the John Cooper garages Mini works driver, who returns for a full season along with the competitive Kirkpatrick brothers, Neven and David. It should be quite some season.
