The Mighty Minis, Super Mighty Minis and Formula Jedis head north this weekend to compete at the Darlington and District’s meeting at Croft. For both Mini championships it is only the second visit since their inception in 1996.

Rodger Tello, the Mighty Minis guru states “It seems unbelievable that we have not visited this circuit since 1999. When we were last here all the drivers absolutely loved the experience”. Matt Pinny and Scott Kendall lead their respective classes and hope to match their Cadwell Park performances. However it is very likely they are going to have things as easy again this season, as their main opposition are poised to deliver an upset. With two races on the agenda it will no doubt be a thrilling weekend for the Mighty Minis competitors who make the journey to North Yorkshire.

In the Formula Jedi Championship, 2008 champion Jack Smith will be pulling out all the stops to build on his excellent start at the Silverstone double header where he recorded a first & second. Richard Gittings was the other winner at the season opener but there are plenty of experienced Jedi campaigners who will all be vying for the title as the year unfolds.
