MSA FORMULA FORD CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT GOES DOWN TO WIRE

The scene is set for a dramatic and thrilling finale to the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain next month at Brands Hatch after Jayde Kruger won twice at Silverstone over the weekend to draw level on points with long-time championship leader Harrison Scott. After 27 races and with just three remaining, JTR’s Kruger and Falcon Motorsport man Scott are tied on 651 points.

Sunday was a great day also for Ashley Sutton, the MBM Motorsport driver securing his fifth win of the season in the morning race which also secured him the Scholarship Class championship title for 2015. You can read full reports on the three races at SILVERSTONE REPORT

It was a busy weekend for the championship as the car at the centre of next season’s exciting new junior championship, MSA Formula – Certified by FIA, Powered by Ford EcoBoost, enjoyed a hugely successful public launch on Saturday evening..

The covers were pulled from the new carbon-fibre monocoque chassis by Gerard Quinn, Head of Ford Racing in Europe, Frederic Bertrand, circuit and championship director of the FIA, and John Ryan of the MSA. For all the details of what was announced at the launch go to MSA FORMULA
