The 2014 schedule for the BRSCC Northern Formula Ford 1600cc Championship has been released by the Club, and features 14 races at eight meetings.

The popular single-seater championship, which attracted average grids of 29 this year, will start with a double header at their spiritual home of Oulton Park on Saturday 12th April, followed on the 10th/11thMay by the first of two visits to spectacular Anglesey.

There are further Oulton Park rounds in both May and June before the championships heads south to Donington Park for its ‘annual away day’ double-header on 12th/13th July.

The business end of the season starts to come into sharp focus on the 30thAugust when Oulton Park will host a single round. The second Anglesey trip is the penultimate stop of the Championship’s journey and there will be plenty of vital points to be won as it is a triple-header weekend.

Almost six months to the day from the start of the season, the Championship will conclude back at Oulton Park with the final two rounds of the year on Saturday 11thOctober when the successors to David McArthur (Post 89) and Chris Hodgen (Pre 90) will be crowned.
