Another stellar GT4 entry lines up at Oulton, although the combination of pit-stop success penalties and previous form suggests the opening race could be fought between two Ginetta teams: PMW Expo Racing/Optimum Motorsport and Century Motorsport.

The BRSCC is saddened to hear of the passing of former racing driver and Club member Neil Cunningham following his battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Neil was seen by many as one of the nicest and most genuine figures in motorsport throughout his 27 year career and beyond.

As Formula E grows in popularity and raises the profile of electric vehicle racing, the need for entry-level electric race cars has become more evident. Back in 2014 Dallara Automobili (one of the worlds’ largest manufacturers of racing cars) approached Oxford Brookes University (OBU) with the idea of developing an affordable electric racing vehicle. Thus began the Formula Club-E Development Program.

In what was, quite possibly, the most action packed and intense weekend of club racing we’ve had to date this season thanks to the BRSCC South Eastern Centre, the Rockingham Motor Speedway delivered an incredible two days’ worth of motorsport from start to finish this past weekend, featuring incredible drives, stunning overtakes and even a couple of first time winners.

Off the back of the recent British GT meeting, it’s Rockingham that marks the next stop on our calendar. Touring cars and sports cars are the order of the weekend here in the International Super Sports Car layout.

Silverstone basked in glorious blue skies and bright sunshine for a scintillating BRSCC Midlands Centre race day on the National circuit that saw an incredible mix of single seaters, touring cars and sports cars entertain the crowds throughout the day.

The BRSCC North Western Centre’s second meeting on the weekend of 7th/8th May took place over two days at the fabulous Anglesey Circuit which, apart from rain early on Sunday morning, was bathed in glorious sunshine throughout as an action packed 18 race schedule for Mazdas and Caterhams was played out.

As part of Oulton Park’s Dubworth Festival which celebrated all things Volkswagen, the BRSCC’s North Western Centre laid on 6 races with the second round of the Fun Cup – for VW Beetle lookalike cars – the centre piece of the day.

When you think of Anglesey, some may view it as a beautiful island in the north of Wales, located right on the coast. A location that’s exceptional for tourists and provides some of the most incredible scenery imaginable. That’s probably how the average tourist would describe it. To a motorsport fan, it’s more than that – it’s a challenging circuit planted beside the Irish Sea in what is quite possibly the most beautiful sporting location in all of British motorsport.

With four different winners in the opening six races, the F4 British Championship certified by FIA - powered by Ford season has got away to an ultra-competitive start full of excitement. The action rolls onto Thruxton this weekend with Carlin’s Max Fewtrell riding high following a brace of podiums and maiden victory at Donington Park which saw him wrestle top spot in the standings away from team-mate and double race winner Petru Florescu.

We are pleased to announce that Ford MSA Formula is to be rebranded in accordance with its British Formula 4 Championship status and will therefore be renamed the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford with immediate effect.
