Mallory Park in Leicestershire played host to a spectacular one day meeting courtesy of our Midlands Centre, where the weather and the racing on display was varied. Nevertheless despite the wet conditions at times, it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the competitors out on track across the day.

We had four drivers who scored a hat-trick of victories when the BRSCC’s North Western Centre organised a weekend of racing at Anglesey on 24th/25th September. The real heroes, however, were the marshals who continued to provide safety cover when a storm generated horrendous weather conditions on Saturday. Fortunately, the sun made an appearance on Sunday making life much better for all.

Even though it’s our one and only visit this season, Mallory Park is a wonderful circuit steeped in club racing history. Sunday will see us add to it with a race day that shared by both Club and guest championships on the deceptively tricky 1.35 mile circuit.

As we transition from summer into autumn, we’re making a run towards the end of the season. However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t still squeeze a couple more visits to the coast when it comes to motorsport. We’re back once again to the wonderfully picturesque setting of Anglesey, nestled beside the Irish Sea in North Wales for a 2-day meeting with the BRSCC’s North Western Centre. In some ways, it’s almost an ode to Ford – almost in the sense that Saturday’s main event features something that isn’t part of the Blue Oval family, but is just as exciting.

Our 2-day race meeting at Rockingham Motor Speedway may have been the last circuit racing that the venue will hold for 2016, but the racing made sure that it went out with plenty of noise and action to remember it by. Whilst one championship came to a close, 4 more continued making strides towards their final weekends with plenty of talking points.

On a gloriously sunny late Summer day the BRSCC’s North Western Centre laid on a thrilling meeting at Oulton Park on 17th September in which two young men called Matt avoided slip-ups to record notable victories on a day when 4 of the club’s Championships enjoyed Double Headers and the MG Car Club’s Cockshoot Cup also made a guest appearance.

It’s time for yet another race day down in Cheshire on the outstanding Oulton Park circuit as another fine selection box of marques, models and disciplines are all set to make an appearance. Oulton is always seen as a favourite with many drivers and there’s going to be plenty of action on track here that’s set to entertain the spectators all throughout the day.

It’s our 3rd and final visit of the season to the amphitheatre that is the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby, which plays host to a mix of saloons and sportscar as well as the now unique sight of some oval racing thrown in for good measure. It should be an enjoyable weekend with the addition of a championship or two to close out as well.

Just six races remain to decide who will claim this year’s F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford title and the battle for supremacy continues to intensify.

Sandy Mitchell and Ciaran Haggerty scored theirs and Black Bull Ecurie Ecosse’s second British GT4 Championship victory in three races at Donington Park earlier today, while Graham Johnson and Mike Robinson wrapped up the class title by finishing third aboard their PMW Expo Racing/Optimum Motorsport Ginetta.

Black Bull Ecurie Ecosse’s Alasdair McCaig and Rob Bell ended their British GT Championship campaign on a high by winning the two-hour season finale at Donington Park this afternoon. However, it was TF Sport’s Derek Johnston and Jonny Adam who celebrated hardest after claiming the GT3 drivers’ and teams’ crowns.

A dry weekend helped to make sure racing was competitive as ever for the BRSCC Northern Centre’s one and only meeting at the fantastic Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. A timetable almost completely awash with Caterhams also saw Formula Fords, Hondas and various sports and saloon cars interspersed throughout. That said, while one championship finished for the year, three more were settled with races still to go.

An entry list packing 29 cars will provide a fitting spectacle around Leicestershire’s 12-turn, 2.498-mile former GP venue where all eyes will be on who can finally snare this year’s titles. Plenty remains up for grabs: not only are the class championships on the line but also the GT3 Gentleman Driver, GT4 Pro-Am and GT4 Silver crowns, as well as both category’s teams’ accolades and, potentially, a little bit of British GT history, too.

Our BRSCC Northern Centre may only be hosting one race meeting this season, but when you see what's making the trip up to North Yorkshire this weekend then you'll be thankful they are! The wonderful wide open spaces and fast sweepers of Croft play host to the penultimate chapter of a phenomenal year for Caterham Motorsport, as well as the scene of a very important season finale.

It’s an event that only comes around once a year at the end of the season, yet for over 40 years it’s become a staple of British club and national motorsport. Reaching its 45th running this year, the 2016 Formula Ford Festival is now only less than two months away.

It’s been a long few months for Mazda MX-5 Championship racer Oliver Allwood and it must feel like it’s been a lifetime since the beginning of July, but finally it’s time for Oliver to pack his bags and grab his passport for his trip to America to compete in the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Invitational race.

In the Boxsters, Alex Stocker, Andy Hack, Angus Archer and Ed Hayes all returned to our ranks having missed recent rounds, along with Gerrards Cross-based Garry Goodwin, who put in personal best performances.
