Tomorrow, our busy North Western Centre is back at Oulton Park for the second Saturday running! Eight races make up the schedule for tomorrow's meeting on the International circuit, and in addition to our own Mighty, Super Mighty Mini and Teekay Couplings Production GTi Championship, we will also be playing host to Britcar, which will have two ninety-minute races as rounds 7 and 8 of the Endurance and Sports & Touring Championships.

Mike Millard’s Rapier, the Mosler of Manuel Cintrano and Javier Morcillo, and the Ferrari 458 of Nigel Greensall and Darren Nelson have all won Britcar races this season and with the championship tables therefore so close, its hard to say who will take the victory at Oulton Park, so it is all to play for!

The Mighty Minis will reach the midway point of their season at Oulton tomorrow and Henley-on-Thames based Charlie Budd heads up the championship leader-board. Charlie scored two fantastic wins at the last round, which took place at the fantastic Belgian circuit of Zolder. However, Charlie won’t have it all his own way as he is being chased relentlessly by both Ian Slark and Paul Rhodes who are both race winners themselves. Ian is just seven points shy of Charlie’s points tally and Paul is just another ten further adrift. In the well supported Ladies Championship Ella Markham has returned from Zolder in the lead after two great races in Belgium.

In the Super Mighty Minis, Elliot Stafford is the man they are all chasing. However, 2013 champion Jamie White is keeping Elliot honest after taking two race wins at the BRSCC EuroFest meeting at Zolder in Belgium last month. Stafford still has his work cut out as White won’t give up his hard won title easily and Scott Kendall is also more than capable of closing the gap. Other drivers will also come in contention as the second half of the season plays out. Don’t discount Steve Maxted or Mini Spare entered driver Alex Comis.

The Teekay Couplings Production GTi Championship continues to grow! Simon Hill, currently leads the championship, however it is the other Simon (Gusterson) who is chasing hard in second place, having won the double-header at Brands Hatch. In the 8V Class, Craig Roberts is again the man to beat in 2014, however Dean Clayton is pushing harder and harder at each race. Clayton, Fothergill and Luke Wales will as usual be in the gaggle of cars fighting it out for the class win. The less powerful 8V cars often hold their own against the 16V on the more technical circuits… don’t be surprised to see Roberts, Clayton, Wales or Fothergill way up the grid!
