SINCLAIR IS THE FIRST EVER OSS CHAMPION

CATEGORIES:

Tony Sinclair became the first ever OSS Champion at Anglesey on Sunday when a brace of second place finishes was enough to secure the inaugural title for the Surrey racer in the Itchy Feet sponsored championship.

Campaigning a Jade 3 prepared by Owen of Jade Motorsport, Tony has consistently been the class of the field and both deserve their title success. Although Tony quite rightly took the title plaudits much credit went to Jim Hutchinson from Portadown whose trip across the Irish Sea was rewarded with two race wins in his Jade 3 Nissan.

Although Tony has now clinched the title he will be back out at Snetterton next month not only to record a 100% start in the Championship but to retain the prestigious Archie Scott Brown Trophy awarded by the BRSCC East Anglia Centre in memory of Archie who was renowned for driving big sports cars.

The destiny of Class B of the championship will be decided at the Snetterton double header. Ginger Marshal’s Bowlby MK2 holds a one point lead over Simon Tilling. The loser will have the consolation of being third in the Championship.

If you have a sports racing car the OSS is the place to be. Come join in at Snetterton to see what the championship is all about.
