The Competition Car Insurance Dunlop Ford Fiesta Championship reaches the season half way point this weekend when it provides the circuit racing action at the Brands Hatch ‘Modified Live’ meeting.

The four races (two for Classes A & B, plus two for Class C) will take place on Sunday afternoon amongst all the Time Attack sessions. The first four rounds of the 2011 season at Silverstone and Snetterton respectively, produced some memorable racing with four class wins each going to John Langridge in Class A, Scott Baines in Class B and David Grady in Class C. All three drivers have clearly dominated to date, which is particularly remarkable in the case of John Langridge as these have been the first four races of his racing career!

Although this looks like a whitewash, there are plenty of other drivers who can challenge for race wins and it could well be that at least one of the winning streaks ends at Brands on Sunday. The Championship has attracted a host of new drivers who find the affordable costs and the cars more than just a potent mix. Value for money and having a superior Dunlop shod slick tyred ‘mini touring car’ to race is a mighty temptation indeed!

Whatever happens on Sunday you can rely on Fiesta racing being frenetic, close and very entertaining!
