In 2009, over 100 drivers competed in the BRSCC North West and Midlands South championships and the BRSCC National Championship. The choice of circuits visited allows drivers to follow one of the three championships, or just cherry pick the venues that appeal to them.

If you have reached the stage of applying for an MSA licence but are not yet sure of what form of racing to get started in – then you need look no further!

Formula Ford is the quintessential jewel in the crown of single seater racing and has provided a cost-effective route into single-seater racing since 1967. The marque is a worldwide phenomenon and as a result the supply of competitive cars is plentiful. Tightly defined specifications that rarely change, coupled with restrictions on tuning mean that older cars remain competitive. Many drivers have used Formula Ford as a vital rung on the ladder of success including 50% of last seasons F1 grid!

For the 2010 season Club Formula Ford will continue to gather momentum and the three championships that make up the category are as follows:

Avon Tyres Club Formula Ford Northern Championship

Avon Tyres Club Formula Ford Southern Championship in association with REIS

BRSCC Club Formula Ford National Championship

Racing is tough, close and very competitive and has proved to be the ideal training ground for young drivers breaking into circuit racing. The Club Formula Ford Championship allows options to race on variations of circuits, particularly favouring the North West and Midlands venues. The strong grids Club Formula Ford always attracts means the formula’s 44th season will be yet another to savour.
