“Driving the Change, Making the Difference” The response was amazing with an inaugural BRSCC championship season of full grids and great racing that took the domestic motorsport scene by storm with an average of 32 cars per grid. The 2010 season is shaping up to be even better with a full 20 race calendar over 9 meetings making the MX5 Championship a great value and cost effective series. With over 120 cars eligible for the Championship track-time has already been booked to cater for a minimum of 60 cars per event. To give drivers added value there is a full package of TV coverage in place with Motors-TV, Men and Motors, Channel5 and full driver hospitality in the paddock. If that isn’t enough, the season concludes with a separate three race Autumn Championship at Silverstone on the Grand Prix Circuit from 1-2nd October. Working with the BRSCC, the aim of Ma5da Racing is to run as a non-profit making club, giving value for money and providing a professional service to its registered members. Ma5da Racing is operated by drivers for drivers and will always put the majority first. The Ma5da MX5 Championship has been specifically designed to allow all MAZDA MX-5 1600 mk1 race cars to be eligible without major changes from their 2008 race specification. Therefore the racing is affordable, entertaining and is aimed at both new and experienced drivers. Ma5da Racing has quickly formulated the ideal race platform for MX5 drivers. Through the commitment, dedication and constant development of the series by the drivers it has gone from strength to strength and the future looks very bright with the introduction of the Ma5da MX5 (mk3) Championship in 2011 and Series in 2010. “The only one make, single class Mazda MX-5 Mk1 MSA Championship in the UK, brought to you by Ma5da Racing, a proven formula for cost effective high profile racing – Welcome to the 2010 Ma5da MX5 Championship”- Jonathan Blake, Ma5da MX5 Championship Director.
