I was introduced to the buyer back in Jan 2019 by Greg Graham our Championship organiser as it had won the 2017 Scottish Compact Cup and only had a couple of track days in 2018. The list below is the spec list of parts on the car at the time,
Gaz Suspension, ( new rebuilt drivers side front mid 2020 £245 ) the other 3 are due a service.
Cobra Sebring GT Seat expires 2019 ( Club racing in UK allows another 2 years so would need a replacement for the 2022 season )

I collected the car from Perth around Feb 2019 and RAW motorsport did a pre-season check along with fitting a new 4ltr fire ext ( which may need a service sticker for 2021 season ), wide rear view mirror, attached my ballast plates and basically gave it a full check over ready for my debut season.
After a couple of pre season track days we were ready to go.
Running 5th in the 1st race at brands in 2019 with 3 laps to go the engine decided to shaft itself beyond repair so I got MJA engines to build a new one as they had built my MX5 engine when I took the 5club title in 2018. After missing the next round as engine was not ready I decided to pick and choose the tracks and used 2019 like a test year with some top 10 finishes.
Early 2020 the car went to AW Tracksport to be prepped for the 2020 season, full spanner check, dyno, full set up ready for a shakedown at Snett, the car felt great. AW Tracksport would also run the car for the 2020 season.
10 races with 9 top tens, The MJA engine was used for the 1st 2 races at Oulton then it went in testing at Thruxton so an AW built engine was put in & is still currently in the car picking up a 4th at Brands round & just missing out on fastest lap!
The car is up for 7k and comes with a small spares package, spare donor ( get out of jail engine ) cleaned but not skimmed. Spare gearbox 2nd hand not tested. A wing, bumper, bits and bobs in a box.
The GoPro Hero 4 camera & mount & the transponder along with the aim solo lap timer are extra if required, also I have a Brian James C4 blue car trailer up for sale for £2500 ono ( the trailer will only be sold separately once the car is sold & gone )
Bodywork has graphics on it, the green is painted on. If someone wanted it prepped then we can quote on getting a colour on it as my friend who looks after cars does body repairs / spraying etc it is a used race car that rubs others, basically if I was racing it again in 2021 I would get the other 3 shocks serviced or buy a new set if budget allows and get it spanner checked then go play with new tyres & pads !!
Reason for sale, I like trying other things, if it doesn’t sell I will more than likely race it in 2021. After 3 years with the MX-5 I won the 5club championship and after 2 years of Compacts I have taken the MASTERS title so I am looking at other options, maybe front wheel drive !!!
