The 2020 BRSCC racing season bursts back into life in March with the first event on the calendar, the second annual Caterham Motorsport Team Enduro Race Weekend. After a successful debut last year, teams of various specifications of cars that compete in Caterham Motorsport’s ladder of championships (excluding Academy) battle it out in a relay-style endurance race on Silverstone’s International circuit. It’s the perfect way for drivers to shake off the cobwebs of the off-season and gain plenty of additional track time ahead of the opening rounds of the 2020 championships at the same venue and layout a few weeks later. Plenty of great battles, strategy and team tactics will be at play, so don’t miss a second of it!
In support of the main event, there will be two days of competition from some of the club’s most popular homegrown championships. The bumper grids of the Mazda MX-5 Championship and Mazda MX-5 SuperCup will be ready to begin another enthralling campaign, and they will be joined in the paddock for the first time by the current generation Mk4 MX-5, as it embarks on its BRSCC competition debut in the Mazda MX-5 Mk4 Trophy. That will compete on track alongside the club’s superb new series from 2019, the epic BRSCC Clubsport Trophy which brings 45 minutes of incredible multi-class mini-endurance racing with a mandatory pitstop and a sensational variety of racing machinery.
Also competing on this timetable will be plenty of tintop and saloon car action with the ever popular Nankang Tyre BMW Compact Cup, the BRSCC Fiesta Championship racing with MRF Tyres and the stars of the future in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship racing with MRF Tyres also taking to the track. What a weekend in store to get our 2020 season underway!
