Track Attack Race Club run a number of different series and cater for all saloons, coupes or sports cars on any budget, ranging from just a few thousand pounds for a whole season right through to whatever you wish to spend. Don’t fall for some series claiming to be ‘affordable’ when you need to spend more than £10,000 on a car and that again each season – all of the Track Attack Race Club series can be entered for a few thousand pounds. By using classes or running series where the cars are kept as close to production specification as possible apart from safety and reliability features, you can guarantee that the winner will be the fastest driver, not the one with the largest wallet.
206 GTi PRODUCTION CUP
The 206 GTi Cup is for the Peugeot 206 GTi model only in 136 bhp engine configuration, manufactured between 1999-2006. It’s a cost-effective way to enjoy motorsport with a standard production specification hot hatch with no drivetrain modifications allowed to ensure this series is in the price bracket for new racers and experienced race hobbyists alike.
The emphasis is on driver ability and not large technical budgets, which is why the regulations are controlled for the series to ensure the cars are equal in performance. This has proved to give some very close results over the last season.
You can convert your own street car to cheaply conform to our series and the Motorsport UK regulations, or if you’d rather have one of our club build teams do the hard work for you there are several affordable options available.
With the series constantly growing and more registrations expected shortly, this season is promising to see some more wing mirror to wing mirror action, with one of the most liked race clubs in the UK.
The Nippon Challenge is a race series for modified and production spec Japanese and Asian cars. It doesn’t matter if you have a hatchback, saloon, coupe or sports car – come and join us for a full season of exciting close racing.
We aim to provide an opportunity to race your favourite model of Japanese or Asian car in a competitive but affordable environment. The regulations have been drafted to allow as wide a range of cars to participate as possible. This should offer an opportunity for you to race whatever your budget, be it a modified car in the GT300 class or a production spec car in the GT150 class.
If you happen to have one of these little French Beauties and want to have some fun, then why not join us in the Tricolore Trophy. The aim is to provide a cost effective motorsport series for French marques and models. Whatever car you have got, we will fit you in.
The range of classes should cover your car and needs and provide a competitive day for all concerned. With 15 minute qualifying sessions and two 15 minute races per event, there is plenty of track time. Even if anything happens to “fall off”, your day will not be over.
With a class structured format to even things out, and the production and production plus classes, we can offer a very basic route into motorsport.
The friendly paddock atmosphere is absorbing, and this alone make it all worthwhile, with everybody mucking in to make sure you get on track.
