The BRSCC can confirm that Competitions Director Drew Furlong has accepted the post of Chief Operating Officer with the BARC and will take up his new post later this summer.

Commenting on the news, BRSCC Chairman, Bernard Cottrell, said “While we are sad to see Drew move on, he certainly goes with our very best wishes. Together with my fellow directors, the HQ staff and the many volunteers across our six centres, I would like to thank Drew for his years of service and the instrumental role he has played in the success of the BRSCC. We all wish him well for the future”.

Talking about his impending departure Drew said “I would like to thank all competitors, marshals and officials with whom I have become great friends during my long tenure at the BRSCC. I am certain that my departure to a completely different role at the BARC will not see any diminishment in the quality of service provided by the Club’s current staff. I am equally sure that the BRSCC’s long tradition of excellence and innovation will continue well into the future.”
