AUTOSPORT SHOW STARTS TODAY

CATEGORIES:

The count down to the start of the 2010 season gets underway today with the opening of the annual Autosport Show at the NEC, Birmingham.

As ever, the Club is very well represented with an eye catching stand in Hall 7 (Stand no. 7250) which is the area of the Show dedicated to national 'club' motorsport. On display on the stand are the impressive looking VW Caddy, Chris Morgan's Super Mighty Mini, a Medinasport Kent Formula Ford, Anthony George's Alfa 156, Steve Griffiths' Jade, a Porsche Boxster, a Formula Ford Duratec from Fluid, a Formula Jedi and two Mazda MX5's representing the Mk1 Championship and the new Ma5da MX5 Cup for the Mk3.

BRSCC members are entitled to a complimentary ticket and it's not too late to claim one. Just visit the trade registration page on the following link. You will need to have your BRSCC membership number to hand to register.

The 2010 exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of the show being badged with the ‘Autosport’ name and moved to the NEC. Prior to that, the ‘Racing Car Show’ as it was known, was a BRSCC property and was staged every year in London.

In addition to the large BRSCC stand, show-goers will see the new F1 World Champion, Jenson Button, race car superstars Allan McNish and David Brabham, as well as a host of other drivers and motorsport personalities. The show is one of the few places where motorsport fans have the rare opportunity to get up-close and personal to their favourite drivers and see their cars away from the racetrack.

From grass-roots karting to F1, every rung on the motorsport ladder is represented so for club competitors it is a great opportunity to catch up with all the latest news and technologies from hundreds of stands featuring the largest collection of motorsport trade and memorabilia available in the country. You can even have your medical for your licence done at the Show!
