As of the 2011 season the incredibly successful Caterham Academy will be registered with the BRSCC, adding to the Club’s existing strong portfolio of championships showcasing the iconic marque.

Announcing the tie-up, Club Chairman Bernard Cottrell said ‘We are delighted that Caterham Motorsport has chosen the BRSCC to run the Academy Championship. With the Roadsports, the Supersports and the R300 already housed with the Club we have built a close working relationship with Simon Lambert and his team”.

Caterham’s Motorsport Manager Simon Lambert is equally enthusiastic “The switch to the BRSCC makes sense on so many levels; it brings all our racing activity under one club which will help us logistically and it will give continuity to drivers moving up the Caterham ladder. The BRSCC also places a greater emphasis on attracting new people into motorsport which fits perfectly with the Academy ethos. We have an excellent relationship with the BRSCC and I’m convinced this move will further strengthen Caterham’s motorsport programme”.
