    One of the most consistently competitive Compact Cup cars with 20 podiums & 7 wins, 2020 championship runner-up and the top points scorer in 2019.
    The car has been well built and looked after throughout with a strong reliability record, finishing every race since 2018 without issue or incident, and a proven front-runner.

    A re-built engine at the start of 2020 season. Finished second in Class BRSCC Clubsport October 18th in Compact spec and dyno tested (Donington Park October 2020 – results available).

    Lightened to meet Compact Cup championship minimum weight without need for ballast (1086 Kg on FULL tank, no driver). Only 1 mechanical DNF in six years, broken exhaust mount rubber!

    For sale is my Nankang BMW compact cup race-winning car!

    This car doesn’t just look great but is an honest great built car, the car was very well built when I bought it, but since then I have completely stripped down the suspension replacing it all with brand new shocks and re-aligning all corners, with this the bottom got replaced before the start of the season. Along with many other wear and tear items, new discs and pads and callipers all round. This car has been lightened throughout also with all the doors, bonnet, boot lid being gutted, every unnecessary excess being cut from the car with all the sound deadening and under seal removed and then professionally painted all over in and out!

    With this being done, there’s a weight box in the base of where the passenger seat was making its easier to balance the car out evenly. Bearing in mind this also means the car is great for any driver being heavy or light.

    The car has been on the podium all year, finishing 3rd in my first season and having a win, showing the car very capable in such a very close difficult championship, if your thinking of entering the Nankang BMW Compact Cup, then do it! It’s great but do it right, get a good car!

    The only reason for sale is I won’t have time next year to race it!

    2020 ST/XR Challenge XR3i class winning car up for sale
    Has been a race car from near new and has been in this series most of its life
    Was fully re-built 2 years ago with many new parts

    Engine was fully re-built and fitted with all new fuel and injection parts, made excellent power on rolling road. Oil changed every other meeting using Valvoline VR-1 race oil

    Gearbox fully re-built with 3J driveline LSD and run on Millers Race LSD oil. Vibratecnic gearbox mounts. B and M quickshift

    Leda adjustable race suspension all round, fully poly bushed. Adjustable toe-in/toe-out on rear

    Standard brake set up with all new calipers, cylinders etc. Goodridge braided lines all round. Currently has Mintex F3-R pads up front. Standard drums and shoes at rear. Castrol SRF brake fluid

    Had a new seat and belts when re-built (in date)

    Omex rev-limiter and separate Omex shift light.

    Car has wanted for nothing in my ownership. Never misses a beat.

    Has a few race related scrapes and dings but is still a very presentable race car and many people comment on it at circuits

    Comes with a small take to circuit spares package, some panels/bumpers and spare rims with race tyres on.

    I also have lots of other spares including a very good spare race engine, many other mechanical parts by separate negotiation.

    The 2020 Masters Championship winning car is up for grabs !!

    W519 JFS currently SORN on FEB 2019

    I was introduced to the buyer back in Jan 2019 by Greg Graham our Championship organiser as it had won the 2017 Scottish Compact Cup and only had a couple of track days in 2018. The list below is the spec list of parts on the car at the time,

    Gaz Suspension, ( new rebuilt drivers side front mid 2020 £245 ) the other 3 are due a service.

    Cobra Sebring GT Seat expires 2019 ( Club racing in UK allows another 2 years so would need a replacement for the 2022 season )

    TRS Harness New for 2020 season

    I collected the car from Perth around Feb 2019 and RAW motorsport did a pre-season check along with fitting a new 4ltr fire ext ( which may need a service sticker for 2021 season ), wide rear view mirror, attached my ballast plates and basically gave it a full check over ready for my debut season.

    After a couple of pre season track days we were ready to go.

    Running 5th in the 1st race at brands in 2019 with 3 laps to go the engine decided to shaft itself beyond repair so I got MJA engines to build a new one as they had built my MX5 engine when I took the 5club title in 2018. After missing the next round as engine was not ready I decided to pick and choose the tracks and used 2019 like a test year with some top 10 finishes.

    Early 2020 the car went to AW Tracksport to be prepped for the 2020 season, full spanner check, dyno, full set up ready for a shakedown at Snett, the car felt great. AW Tracksport would also run the car for the 2020 season.

    10 races with 9 top tens, The MJA engine was used for the 1st 2 races at Oulton then it went in testing at Thruxton so an AW built engine was put in & is still currently in the car picking up a 4th at Brands round & just missing out on fastest lap!

    The car is up for 7k and comes with a small spares package, spare donor ( get out of jail engine ) cleaned but not skimmed. Spare gearbox 2nd hand not tested. A wing, bumper, bits and bobs in a box.

    The GoPro Hero 4 camera & mount & the transponder along with the aim solo lap timer are extra if required, also I have a Brian James C4 blue car trailer up for sale for £2500 ono ( the trailer will only be sold separately once the car is sold & gone )

     

    Bodywork has graphics on it, the green is painted on. If someone wanted it prepped then we can quote on getting a colour on it as my friend who looks after cars does body repairs / spraying etc it is a used race car that rubs others, basically if I was racing it again in 2021 I would get the other 3 shocks serviced or buy a new set if budget allows and get it spanner checked then go play with new tyres & pads !!

    Reason for sale, I like trying other things, if it doesn’t sell I will more than likely race it in 2021. After 3 years with the MX-5 I won the 5club championship and after 2 years of Compacts I have taken the MASTERS title so I am looking at other options, maybe front wheel drive !!!
