DETAILS OF BRIAN JONES’ FUNERAL

Please find the following information regarding the upcoming funeral of our dearly beloved and very much missed friend and colleague, Brian Jones, provided by his family:

“The last goodbye and funeral of Brian will be held at Vinters Park Crematorium, Bearsted Road, Maidstone, Kent on Wednesday February 10th 2021 at 1:15pm. This will, unfortunately, be a small family and invited guest only occasion, due to the awful COVID virus and lockdown restrictions. For those of you that would like to wave goodbye on the day, the funeral cortège will leave Brian & Ros’ home in West Kingsdown at 12 noon, proceed down towards the Brands Hatch main entrance, drive through Brands on Colin Chapman Way, pausing briefly at the Kentagon, before departing at the rear gate and driving directly to the crematorium via the A20 and M20 motorways. Please remember to adhere to all social distancing rules. It is heartbreaking for some of the family that they won’t be able to attend, as it is for many friends. We will be planning a celebration of Brian’s life and will provide more information on how we wish to honour Brian’s memory going forward, when restrictions are eased and all of those who loved him can come and raise a glass or two, laugh, share stories and remember him.
