The official BRSCC Fiesta Junior Scholarship offers you as a talented young driver the fantastic opportunity to win one of the most valuable and comprehensive junior circuit racing prize packages available in the UK.

The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship is the fastest growing UK junior racing series and is the ideal cost-effective platform for any aspiring young driver to begin their circuit racing career.

THE PRIZE

The BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship Scholarship prize package worth over £65k includes:

  • Use of a stunning Mk7 Zetec-S Fiesta Junior race car for the 2025 race season.
  • Race entry fees, BRSCC racing membership and championship registration fees.
  • Professional race team event support including a pre-event test day programme.
  • SIM Motorsport pre-event simulator programme.
  • Race tyres, race fuel, vehicle consumables.
  • Driver mentoring from BTCC star Josh Cook.
  • ARDS training and test.
  • NICKY GRIST Motorsport Sponsored P1 Race Suit & Stilo Helmet

Worth over £2,500 to those who manage to win a place in the “Top 6 scholarship shoot-out” but miss out on the main prize, the BRSCC will offer you 3 free FJC race entries along with racing membership and registration should you choose to race a Mk7 Fiesta at any point through the 2025 championship season. For those scholarship drivers that don’t make the final 6, you’ll be offered your first race entry along with racing membership and registration (worth over £1,000) should you decide to race a Mk7 car at any point in the 2025 FJC season.

WHO CAN ENTER

To be eligible to secure your place on the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Championship 2025 Scholarship programme and put yourself in pole position to win this amazing career defining package you must comply with the following:

  • Your date of birth must fall between 01/Jan/2008 to 08/March/2011 (date range subject to extension at the discretion of the organisers)
  • You should be familiar with the basics of driving a car with a manual H-pattern gearbox (this means being able to change gear, steer and brake). Should you not already possess this basic knowledge, there are numerous organisations that provide this service to young drivers.
  • You must not have previously competed in any FIA or Motorsport UK licensed circuit racing events in a race car. Those who have taken part in trackdays, taster sessions or even previous scholarship activities are welcome to apply, as are those who may already have gone through an ARDS test and hold a Junior Racing Licence (but have not yet taken part in Junior circuit races).
  • You must be available (along with a parent or guardian) to attend Blyton Park on the qualifying and final programme dates.

If you are in any doubt please contact us to see if you qualify for the Scholarship.

AT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Detailed final instructions for the scholarship programme and further information about the prize package will be shared ahead of the event with everyone who secures their entry, however the following basic information should be noted.

On each Qualifying Day, each participant will be assessed on their driving…not necessarily who can drive the fastest, but on progress through the program, their ability to listen to instruction and in how they communicate with the instructors and examiners.

The winner of the scholarship should expect fairly significant levels of media attention, and as such they need to be able to present themselves to an acceptable standard. To enable the scholarship team to carry out their evaluations, each candidate will be asked to prepare a 90 second spoken presentation that they will deliver at the event. The presentation can be related to any subject that the candidate chooses and the assessment will be based on presentation and delivery rather than the content. Each candidate will also be interviewed by the highly respected motorsport presenter Richard John Neil.

As part of the non-driving assessments, scholarship participants will also be asked to carry out a basic fitness evaluation. The fitness evaluation will not require any additional clothing or footwear, and is only to ensure that candidates possess the minimum fitness levels required to handle the physical stresses involved in driving a race car. Should any candidate have reason to feel uncomfortable with taking part in a physical evaluation, we would ask that you discuss this with the scholarship team ahead of the event.

After each Qualifying Day, the scholarship team will select the 6 drivers who have impressed them most over the course of each day. Should you be one of the drivers selected you’ll be notified immediately.

Whether you’re attending the first or second Qualifying Day, you must be prepared to be available for the Scholarship Top 12 finals day (30th October). Should you be selected as one of the top 12 drivers, on the final day you’ll be given further assessments where a final top 6 will be selected for the afternoon Shoot Out, with the end result being the 2025 scholarship winner being chosen.

At the scholarship event you’ll also meet a selection of professional race teams who will be playing a part in running the programme and who run Mk7 Fiesta race cars in the Fiesta Junior Championship, so even if you don’t end up winning you’ll have opportunities to discuss your future racing options.
