Are you a racing driver, aged 14-17 years old? Considering a move into car racing or more specifically touring cars? How about gaining an amazing chance to race on one of the top circuits in the UK? If any or all of these sounds appealing, then we think we’ve got an interesting little proposition for you…

We have been able to secure some track time at Donington Park to run a Fiesta Junior Winter Series on Saturday 7th November. The Fiesta Junior Championship is a series run by us here at the BRSCC which has grown in stature over the last couple of seasons. Taken over by championship co-ordinator Julieann Bates, the grids have consistently broken into double figures at every race meeting this season and are only set to get bigger moving into 2016. All drivers compete using the sixth generation Ford Fiesta ST, with several teams willing to aid in supplying and running a car for your benefit. There are also a handful of efforts run individually, so either way you’ll be able to get on the grid some way, some how. All in all, it’s an encouraging, friendly and well supported championship that makes all comers feel welcome.

Taking place on the National circuit, the Winter Series will consist of a 15-minute qualifying session and two races, each of a 20-minute duration. It’s an ideal opportunity for some drivers who have already competed this year to gain some extra track time and to enjoy themselves as an end-of-season send-off. For those who are considering giving it a go in 2016, it’s an great way to get a feel for the car, the race weekend format, competing against others on track and generally assisting in weighing up the options for the following year.

The entry fee is £335 and entries are now being taken. Those who are regulars to the championship and/or have raced with us in FJC before can enter online in the usual way via http://brscc.prosolvehosting.co.uk/ or by calling the BRSCC office on 01732 783144.

However, if you’re a newcomer who fancies taking on the championship with a potential view to a full time run next season, then all you need to do is print off, fill in and send us this WINTER SERIES ENTRY FORM.

You can also find out more details about the Championship from Julieann Bates herself by calling 07816 397852 or e-mailing julieann@brscc.co.uk.

With that said, we look forward to seeing you at Donington in November – if you’re up to the challenge, of course… are you?
