The annual Britcar 24 Hours meeting is already underway! Qualifying started this morning at Silverstone with the BRSCC Mazda Autumn Challenge having the honour of getting the ball rolling at 9am and it was the experienced Mazda campaigner Tom Roche who took pole from Alex Preston and Mark Litherland.

The thirty plus cars competing in the annual endurance event will do their qualfying session at 1pm before returning for a two-hour night session at 7pm. The 24-hours race then gets underway at 3.30pm tomorrow afternnon so there will be a couple of long nights in store for the officials & marshals from the BRSCC Midland Centre. In addition to the three races of the BRSCC Mazda Autumn Challenge, supporting interest will be provided by the BIGprofile Sports 2000 Championship, the Porsche Club PMC Trophy, and the F3 Cup/Monoposto Trophy.
