The 43rd BRSCC Formula Ford Festival will take place at Brands Hatch over the weekend of 25th/26th October and as last year it will be open to all marques of Kent powered 1600cc models, plus a separate category for Duratec and Zetec cars.

Confirming the format, BRSCC Competitions Director, Drew Furlong, said, “The decision last year to make the ‘blue riband’ Final the exclusive preserve of Kent power-plants worked very well as did the provision of an ‘Historic’ Final for older Formula Fords. Therefore, with entries permitting, we will run the same format again in 2014.”

To clarify, the Kent category will consist of four classes catering for Post 89, Pre 90, Pre 82 and Pre 72 models. All cars will be eligible for the Final, and the latter three classes with also qualify for the Historic Final. The Duratec and Zetec powered Formula Fords will have the standard qualifying session, a heat and then a Final.

In addition to the Formula Ford action, the Festival meeting will feature the final rounds of the BRSCC Fiesta Juniors, the Jam-Sport Fiestas & and both the Duratec & Pinto classes of the BigProfile Sports 2000 Championship. After a successful debut at the 2013 Festival, the Irish Fiesta Championship will also be concluding their season at Brands Hatch.

Entry forms for the Festival are now available at 2014 FFF
