BRITISH F4 ANNOUNCES PROVISIONAL 2020 CALENDAR
The F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost has unveiled the provisional calendar for the 2020 season.
For the first time ever in 2020, the schedule includes two trips to Silverstone, home of the Formula 1 ® British Grand Prix, using the National circuit in April and the International loop – the only new addition – on the return trip in September.
In a re-shuffled schedule, the season will begin at Donington Park on 28th-29th March and finish on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch on 11th-12th October.
All other venues – Croft, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Knockhill and Thruxton – retain their slots on the calendar.
Once again occupying a unique role as the sole single-seater support championship on the UK’s premier motorsport package, the British Touring Car Championship, the Ford EcoBoost-powered series will comprise thirty races across the entire ten-event schedule, guaranteeing capacity trackside crowds and live, free-to-air television coverage on ITV4.
The next generation of motorsport stars will also be competing for coveted FIA Super License points as they look to progress through the ranks and emulate a number of championship graduates in reaching the likes of Formula 1, IndyCar, FIA Formula 3 and so on.

“Value for money and giving drivers enough track time to develop their skills is what the F4 British Championship is all about, so it’s fantastic to be supporting the entire ten-event British Touring Car Championship calendar once again in 2020, and credit to TOCA for putting together another fantastic schedule.
“We’ve had a superb start to 2019, with six different race winners and eight different drivers taking podium finishes in the opening ten rounds, showcasing the level of competition in the championship.
“I’m sure we’ll see that trend continue looking ahead to 2020 as we continue to set the benchmark for FIA Formula 4 categories around the world.”
