AIRTEC MOTORSPORT SIGNS AS TITLE SPONSOR OF BRSCC FIESTA CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2022

The BRSCC and AIRTEC Motorsport are delighted to announce an expansion to their long term supply partnership, with AIRTEC Motorsport becoming title sponsor of the BRSCC’s Fiesta Championship for the 2022 race season.

As part of this expanded partnership, the series will be rebranded as The AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta Championship, with all race cars to display AIRTEC Motorsport front and rear number plates and sill branding.

Over a number of years, Essex-based performance and race part manufacturers AIRTEC Motorsport has assisted the BRSCC in the development of the rapidly growing Fiesta ST240 championship class, and various AIRTEC Motorsport parts are mandatory fitment on the race cars. The Ford marque has long played a key role in AIRTEC Motorsport’s business, and taking an expanded involvement with the Fiesta Championship will further allow them to promote and develop parts that are proven to perform with maximum reliability on the race track.

On confirming this new agreement, BRSCC’s head of formulae development Greg Graham said, “It’s only by having strong and supportive partners on board that we are able to develop new categories such as our Fiesta ST240 class, and the team at AIRTEC Motorsport are a prime example of a valued partner. Their technical expertise and high product quality has helped our race teams and drivers get fully behind the ST240 category, and it is currently one of the fastest-growing classes in our portfolio.

To now have AIRTEC Motorsport as title sponsor of the Fiesta Championship will be something that will further benefit all parties, and we look forward to a long and mutually successful relationship.”

On agreeing the new partnership, AIRTEC Motorsport owner Alan Shepherd said,
“After assisting in the development of the ST240 class within the Fiesta Championship, it is great to see how quickly the category is now growing. We’re delighted that race teams and drivers trust the parts manufactured and supplied by ourselves, and to take on title sponsorship of the Fiesta Championship will allow us to promote our performance and race products even more effectively.

We very much look forward to continuing working with the BRSCC, Fiesta race teams, owners and drivers through the 2022 season and beyond.”

The first rounds of the 2022 AIRTEC Motorsport Fiesta Championship season are scheduled to take place at Brands Hatch over the weekend of 9th/10th April, and with what’s expected to be one of the largest grids of Fiestas in recent history, it’s set to be a cracker!
