BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD FOR MX-5 SUPERCUP
The BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup had its own dedicated stand at last week’s Autosport International show with Paul Sheard’s freshly liveried Mk3 on display throughout the four-day exhibition.
Paul was on-hand, along with fellow competitor Ray Worley, to answer the questions about SuperCup from the many show visitors who stopped to enquire about the championship.
Paul was very positive about the amount of interest generated in the championship commenting, “Ray and I had a lot of genuine interest in the SuperCup at the Show and we fully expect the number of new drivers committing to the 2014 championship to increase further still. We have great confidence that the first round of the season will see grids comfortably exceeding 20 cars and produce the close, exciting racing that has become the hallmark of the MX-5 SuperCup”.
All the teams and drivers are now busy preparing for the first meeting of the season, which is a double-header on the Silverstone International circuit on the 5th/6th of April.
The BRSCC would like to thank Paul for providing the Mk3 for display and thank Ray Worley and Harriet Sheard for volunteering to staff the stand.
