The British GT Championship has confirmed it will once again hold its pre-season media day, with the venue set for the Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk on March 15th.

The day is open just for accredited members of the media to attend to get their first glimpse of this season's runners and riders and get up close and personal with both with the teams, drivers and cars. 2016 is set to be one of the biggest and best years of racing for the championship with the field already confirmed to feature cars such as the latest Audi R8 LMS, the all-new Lamborghini Huracan GT3 and the return of the thoroughbred Bentley Continental GT3s via Team Parker Racing. They will join the likes of Aston Martin, Ginetta, BMW and more.

Driver wise, the reigning champions are set to do battle against each other in identical machinery, with Jonny Adam leaving Andrew Howard's Beechdean Aston Martin outfit to join Derek Johnston at TF Sport, also running a Vantage GT3. Elsewhere, Barwell have said bye-bye to their BMWs to take on the new Lamborghini Huracans, with international GT star Fabio Babini set to join Alexander Sims in one of them for the first 3 rounds before handing the reigns over to fellow new recruit Liam Griffin for the rest of the season. Speaking of BMWs, Triple Eight's exit is AmD Tuning's gain with the BTCC outfit expanding their GT exploits by taking on the vacant pair of Z4 GT3s, while this season will also see the return of Martin Short and Rollcentre Racing at the wheel of an ex-Barwell BMW.

In recent days, former GT4 champion Rick Parfitt Jr has been confirmed to drive one of the Team Parker Bentleys, whilst over in GT4 itself there will be a battle royale between Aston Martin, Ginetta and Porsche, with In2 Racing fielding a pair of all-new Cayman GT4s while Team HARD enter the frame with a striking looking Ginetta, although Tony Gilham's squad are yet to confirm drivers.
