BRSCC REPLACES ANGLESEY JUNE MEETING WITH KNOCKHILL VISIT FOLLOWING EVENT CANCELLATION

After a period of dialogue between the BRSCC and Anglesey Circuit, the club have taken the decision to cancel our event which was scheduled to take place at the circuit over the weekend of 5th/6th June.

This was not an easy decision for either party, and it has been forced solely by uncertainties regarding Welsh Government Covid related restrictions. Although indications are that Motorsport UK permitted events could start toward the end of May, as things stand the club could not guarantee our competitors that the June 5th/6th event will be able to take place. This cancellation is as much of a disappointment to Anglesey Circuit as it is to the BRSCC.

The Club and Anglesey Circuit apologise for the inconvenience caused to any competitors affected by this decision, and we will work together to ensure we can enjoy many future visits. Please note that Anglesey Circuit staff will make contact directly with anyone who had paid for testing at the circuit.

Rather than the club risking losing this event completely, we have investigated every other option to try to find a circuit with the availability of hosting our championships. Unfortunately, nothing suitable was available to us for the same weekend, however we can now confirm that all championships that were scheduled to compete at the Anglesey event will now visit Knockhill Racing Circuit over the weekend of 12th/13th June. This change effects Caterham, BMW Compact Cup and the ST-XR Championship.

Further exciting details will follow soon with regard to the Knockhill event!
