For those of you who may not have seen the information on social media, details of the funeral of Ian “Diz” Smith have been provided in a message from his son, Steve. Please see the following:

“Hi everyone, it’s Steve, Diz’s son. I want to let you all know Diz’s funeral arrangements.

It will take place on: Friday, March 3rd @ 10am at Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Road, Higher Walton, Warrington, WA4 6TB

Then afterwards at: The Heath Business and Technical Park, Heath Road South, Weston, Runcorn, WA7 4QX

I would just like to say on behalf of Di and myself a massive thank you for all the lovely Facebook comments, messages and cards. It has been lovely reading all of your memories and stories of a true legend! Please share this post and let people who aren’t on Facebook know the arrangements please.
