Our North Western Centre pays their sixth and final visit of the season to Oulton Park tomorrow for a meeting that will also bring the 2014 Fun Cup, Avon Tyres Northern Formula Ford and Dunlop TVR championships to a conclusion.

The FunCup dominates the schedule with a 4-hour race after lunch. The experienced Team Racelogic trio of Julian Thomas, Nigel Greensall & Joachim Ritter have a healthy but not conclusive lead at the top of the points standings. They will however be confident of holding off the challenge of Holden Hawthorns Racing and Team OBR Young Guns to secure their third consecutive title.

It has been another superb season for Avon Tyres supported BRSCC FF1600 Northern Championship, which has seen over 60 different drivers taking to the track. It's fantastic to be able to come to the last meeting with both the Post-89 and Pre-90 titles still to be decided. In the newer category, David McArthur holds a narrow lead ahead of Stuart Gough but has no margin for error as when the dropped scores come into play Stuart has a two point advantage. David will also have to watch out for his younger brother, Tom, who laid down a marker by beating him last time out.

In Pre-90 the advantage lies with Class D racer, Jamie Jardine, however if there are any slip-ups, Chris Hodgen is in his wheel tracks, ready to take the title. The pair have been closely matched throughout the season.

To add some extra spice to the Formula Ford double-header, Blackburn based Wallpaper Central have put up two trophies for the aggregate winner over both races in the Pre-90 and Post-89 classes. The Pre-90 cars will also be racing for the 'Moose Trophy'.

With the Dunlop TVR Challenge decided in the favour of Class A runner Tim Davies at Anglesey in August, the main focus will be on how guest driver and Indycar rising star, Jack Hawksworth will fare at the wheel of a CWR prepared TVR Chimaera.
