The first BRSCC championship out of the blocks for the 2021 season is the Avon Tyres Northern & Super Classic Formula Ford Championship as it kicks off its exciting new season at the short, sharp and intense Mallory Park circuit in Leicestershire. This will be the first of four visits in 2021 to the venue as the BRSCC revives the Star of Mallory competition, featuring the added incentive of a £2000 prize pool across the series with £500 distributed per racing meeting between the class winners (provided there’s a minimum of 3 starters in the class).
There’s also the chance to win a voucher for a free test day at Mallory Park via a prize draw throughout the meeting, giving drivers plenty of reasons to take part. The Mallory Park circuit itself is only 1.350 miles long, but the fast and simple layout still provides a great challenge for drivers to get it right. This promises to be a great day’s racing, with the championship accommodating any and all Kent-engined Formula Ford chassis across a range of classes. This means that whatever the chassis and age of the car, there is guaranteed to be a class and a group of cars to compete in and against.
