Good news today for the BRSCC Ford XR Challenge who have announced that Advantage Motorsport will be the title sponsor for the new season, taking over from CFT Services.
Advantage Motorsport operate a motorsport parts & accessory shop in the paddock at Oulton Park, where the XR Challenge has three rounds this season.
Championship Co-ordinator Dave Fairclough was delighted to welcome them aboard,”I’d like to thank Advantage Motorsport for backing the XR Challenge this year. Many of our drivers will already be familiar with the shop at Oulton. I’d also like to place on record our thanks to CFT Services for their support last season. There has been a lot of driver interest over the winter so hopefully this will be a great year for the Advantage Motorsport XR Challenge".
The fifteen round challenge, which will run on Yokohama Tyres, commences at Oulton Park on 13th April with subsequent visits to Anglesey, Cadwell Park and Donington Park.
Craig Brookfield took the XR2 title last year with John-Ifan Jones winning the XR3i crown.
