Having been launched to a great level of interest early in 2022, and having gone through a period of further technical development and testing since then, the BMW 1 Series SuperCup will now benefit from being showcased in a full season of racing.
Cars are based on F20/F21 1.6 N13 turbo-charged BMW 1 Series models, and with 230bhp, rear wheel drive and a host of carefully selected controlled parts which are stocked and supplied by BRSCC partners Essential Racing, they make a thoroughly entertaining, fast and sophisticated race car.
Race cars can be 3 or 5 door BMW F20/F21 models. MY 2011-2015 114/116/118 (pre-facelift) fitted with 6 Speed manual or 8 speed ZF Auto gearbox.
As can be seen from the technical specification, the race cars have been developed by working closely with a carefully selected group of top quality technical partners. The detailed parts listings can be found by clicking on the TECH DOCUMENTS tab below.
To provide ease of supplying all of the key components of the car, and importantly to control the technical and performance equality of mandatory parts and cars, BRSCC partners Essential Racing Ltd are appointed as sole stockist and supplier.
The BMW 1 Series SuperCup will be competing as one of four series racing on track together in the brand new BRSCC Evolution Trophy, a special and innovative development series that will allow it to grow and thrive. Once the SuperCup has attracted enough interest and support from drivers competing on a regular basis, the plan will then be to run as a separate standalone series in the future.
