GAZ SHOCKS BACK BOXSTERS
Gaz Shocks are the latest company to confirm support for the Boxster class of the BRSCC Porsche Championship, which made a promising debut last season. The Basildon based company run by Brian Gazzard will be the mandatory supplier of dampers and springs to all Boxsters running in the Championship this season. Gaz are already heavily involved with the BRSCC as they currently supply the Mighty & Super Mighty Minis championships and also the Ma5da MX5s. Gaz also sponsored the Club’s 'How to go racing guide' which includes an excellent DVD. The Porsche Championship is looking forward to another exciting season of growth following the change in regulations in 2010 which added a class for the Porsche Boxster S to the long running Porsche 924 Championship. An encouraging 10 Boxsters joined the 924s on the grid during the season and that number is set to grow again this year. Dave Clark won the Boxster Class from Richard Sykes with Andrew Hannington taking the 924 honours ahead of Steven Brown. Clark will be back to defend his title when the season opens at Silverstone on 9/10th April.
