PAUL O’NEILL SET FOR MX-5 SUPERCUP DEBUT

Paul Sheard Autos has teamed up with ex-BTCC driver Paul O’Neill, giving the former race winner the opportunity to join the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup grid as a guest driver for Saturday’s double header at Oulton Park.

Between 2001 and 2013, Paul competed in well over 100 British Touring Car Championship races including multiple podium finishes and race wins. Paul is now a popular presenter on ITV4’s live BTCC meeting coverage, driver coach and favourite with fans on twitter (@PaulONeill29).

It’s never easy to jump into a new car as a guest driver but with Paul’s years of experience in top level UK motorsport he’s sure to give the regular MX-5 SuperCup drivers a hard time and of course like any racer will be aiming to win on what is the Widnes based drivers home circuit!

This is a fantastic opportunity for the SuperCup regulars to race against someone who has proven they can cut it at the highest level and should make for some excellent viewing for spectators.
