PORSCHE DRIVERS THRILL MISSION MOTORSPORT VETERANS
Two drivers from the Toyo Tires Porsche Championship, Rebecca Jackson and Chris Valentine, attended a track day at Brands Hatch last week, courtesy of Open Track Events, and provided passenger laps for a number of British military veterans who were there with Mission Motorsport.
Run by Major James Cameron, and with BRSCC Vice-President, Sir Stirling Moss OBE as their patron, Mission Motorsport provides respite, rehabilitation, recreational opportunities and training to those affected by military operations within the framework of motorsport. Mission were also involved in the Championship's attendance at the annual Autosport show at the NEC in January, sharing the drive of the red #23 Boxster of Syd Coombes, that impressed the crowds in the Live Action Arena.
Rebecca and Chris were thrilled to provide support to this worthy cause and the Porscheracing Drivers Association (PDA) hopes to continue the Championship's collaboration with the charity during the 2013 season.
