Forced to settle for a third-place finish in Saturday’s round of the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain, there was no stopping Ashley Sutton on Sunday as he romped to twin wins in Norfolk in his EcoBoost Mygale. Sutton sliced through from third on the grid in the first of the day’s battles, and then led from pole to chequered flag in the second.

There were podium finishes on Sunday for Ricky Collard, Max Marshall, and for championship protagonists Harrison Scott and Jayde Kruger, with Jayde finishing second to Sutton in the finale to claw back some of the points lost to Scott in earlier races.

In Saturday's race, Max Marshall kept his cool in a hot and fractious16th round to claim an emphatic victory at the wheel of his EcoBoost JTR Mygale, ahead of Harrison in P2. While others around him clashed wheels, the 19-year-old Leicestershire lad kept his head to earn a long-awaited maiden win.

After 18 rounds, Scott Harrison now leads Jayde Kruger by 14 points. Full reports on all three Snetterton rounds can be found at http://www.britishformulaford.co.uk/
