ENTRIES OPEN FOR 2021 BRSCC 50TH FORMULA FORD FESTIVAL!
Ladies and gentlemen, the moment has finally arrived – it’s Festival season!
This year, the BRSCC is all set to celebrate the 50th running of the legendary and prestigious Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch on October 30th/31st 2021, and for all those who are itching to get themselves onto the grid for this momentous occasion, it’s good news – entries are now OPEN!
It’s a race that has woven itself into the fabric of British and world motorsport over the years and has seen many star drivers pass through on their way to the highest echelons of the sport. Names such as Jenson Button, Mark Webber, Eddie Irvine, Johnny Herbert and more have won this event on their way to successful careers in F1, sports cars, GTs and more and there are many more racing legends that have also added the Festival to their racing CVs. This year will be a celebration of half a century of Formula Ford’s most notable event and the original single-seater knock-out competition, and it’s one that’s not to be missed!
As a reminder of the format, Kent-engined Formula Fords of all chassis constructors, models and ages are welcome to compete, with drivers contesting a series of dedicated heats during Saturday’s action before those are successful to progress move on into Sunday’s semi-finals and even the nail-biting Last Chance Race, all leading up to the Grand Final to decide who earns the title of Formula Ford Festival Champion for 2021. Older chassis will also have their own silverware to fight for with the dedicated Historic Final too, one that always produces some thrilling action! Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy all of it both trackside and also on the dedicated LIVE stream coverage across both days as well!
The entry fee remains at just £360.00, with some of the finest and best Formula Ford drivers from around the country set to descend on Kent in October, including the top names from this year’s ultra-competitive Avon Tyres National Formula Ford Championship – and perhaps even one or two surprise entries too! Entering the Festival couldn’t be simpler – existing registered National and Northern & Super Classic drivers from this season can enter online or by calling the BRSCC HQ office, and those who haven’t raced with us in 2021 will simply need to follow the link below to the dedicated entry page and complete and submit the form to book your spot.
