BRSCC APPOINTED RACE ORGANISER FOR 2025 ELMS SILVERSTONE ROUND

The British Racing & Sports Car Club is delighted to confirm that it has been appointed as the organising club for the UK return of the European Le Mans Series, for the Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone event in September 2025.

The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is one of the premier sportscar endurance championships in the world, run by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) which also oversees the World Endurance Championship as well as the globally famous Le Mans 24 Hours. The ELMS features a healthy grid of multi-class machines, with LMP2, LMP3 and GT3 classes featuring on track together in a bid for both outright and class victories.

The ELMS makes its first visit back to the UK since 2018, and to Silverstone Circuit, the home of British Motorsport. After a careful selection process, the BRSCC has been entrusted with assisting in the administration and organisation of the event. The Club has a rich history in playing its role in some of the UK’s biggest sportscar events over the years, including being the organising club for the British GT Championship, and previous experience aiding the running of the WEC’s Silverstone rounds on several occasions.

Paul McErlean, Chief Operating Officer at the BRSCC: “The Club has a long history of playing its part in organising some of the biggest and best sports car events in UK motorsport, and we’re delighted to be appointed as organisers for the return of the European Le Mans Series to Silverstone next September. Our organising team look forward to working alongside Silverstone and the ACO to deliver a very special weekend of world-class endurance racing.”
