We’re Hiring – Sporting & Operations Administrator

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sporting & Operations Administrator to join the British Racing & Sports Car Club (BRSCC), one of the UK’s leading motorsport event organisers. The BRSCC runs over 30 race meetings annually and administers several prestigious championships, including the British GT Championship.

This role is crucial in supporting the efficient delivery of motor racing events across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the organisation and promotion of race events at leading UK circuits, while building a strong career within the national motorsport industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for general enquiries
• Provide administrative support to the BRSCC Sporting & Operations Department
• Process race entries, memberships, and registrations efficiently
• Communicate with the BRSCC client base regarding pre-and post-event information
• Coordinate with hotels and restaurants for senior officials
• Prepare and allocate event paperwork (entry lists, final instructions, etc.)
• Assist with the submission of event and series/championship permit applications to the national governing body
• Provide on-the-ground race meeting event support

Skills & Experience:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.), with the ability to create high-quality documentation
• High attention to detail and a professional presentation in all outputs
• The ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• A flexible approach and strong sense of urgency, with the energy and enthusiasm to exceed expectations

Ideal Candidate:

• A keen interest in motorsport
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in event management or administration is an advantage, but not essential

This role would be ideal for someone looking to grow within the motorsport industry and gain hands-on experience in event coordination and operations. It’s a fast-paced environment, and there will be a need for weekend support at race events.

Additional Requirements:

• A valid driving licence and access to transport is essential

Location: Office Based, Oxford (Wheatley)
Salary: £24,500.00 per annum
Start Date: April/May 2025
Reporting to: Head of Sporting & Operations
