The time has come to commence yet another year of motorsport, so as per usual we’ve packed up and made the trip to the Midlands, to Birmingham and the NEC for the annual Autosport International Racing Car Show – a 4-day extravaganza packed full of the best in the business in terms of cars, drivers and championships.

We’ve taken up our usual place in Hall 7 on Stand 7030 with a fantastic selection of machines on offer for those in attendance to view and savour. For a start, both of our Mazda MX-5 championships feature a car each for the Mazda MX-5 Mk1 Championship and the MX-5 Mk3 SuperCup, sat neatly next to the latest chassis from Ralph Firman which graces our Avon Tyres Formula Ford 1600 Championships. Keeping them company are cars from the BMW Race Days Compact Cup, Caterham Academy Championship, Formula Jedi, the Excool OSS Championship, Production GTi and the Fiesta Championship. Plenty on offer to cater to all tastes be it single seaters, sports cars or tin-tops.

Many of the championship co-ordinators and associated parties will be on hand during the course of the 4 days of the show along with BRSCC personnel, all of which will be more than happy to talk about getting involved with the Club as a racing driver, marshal or even a potential Clerk of the Course for our race meetings.
