FUCHS LUBRICANTS CONTINUES AS SERIES SPONSOR

FUCHS Lubricants is to continue as title sponsor of the Volkswagen Racing Cup for a further year after a successful first season with the UK’s favourite saloon-car race series.

The Volkswagen Racing Cup with FUCHS Lubricants is set this season to build on its success with an exciting schedule of dates and a regular slot alongside the popular British GT Championship. The Volkswagen championship will support British GT at six of its UK-circuit dates in 2011, and will also return to Zandvoort in the Netherlands for an early-summer meeting.

“The championship enjoyed an average grid of 25 cars in 2010, and we have every expectation that this figure will grow in the coming season. Many of last year’s competitors are returning, and there will be an influx also of novices, underling the championship’s reputation as a great place to begin a racing career.”
